This is a hand made Reel Antenna with a built in transformer. A full wire antenna on a reel all while being smaller than most QRP radios! This is incredible for POTA, SOTA and other portable/field operations. Setup in any end fed configuration you like.
The modular version has the transformer in a small cylindrical cover which can nest into the spool (instead of the transformer built into the winder itself.) In the modular version, pull out the transformer, attached to the radio/coax/atu and then walk out the antenna radiator...The radiator end is terminated with a loop that hooks onto the spool internal hooks. As there is no permanent attachment of the radiating wire to the spool, simply insert the loop end of the wire into the spool and rotate the handle to catch the loop on one of the 4 internal hooks. You can wind in either direction!

All parts are printed in ASA and PETG and can handle the elements but is not intended for long term or permanent outside installation.
If you order with Wire, you get No 26. Poly-Stealth Antenna Wire. This is high quality, barely visible wire. Wire length if included in selection is cut to length and terminated with banana connectors at the transformer and loops at the opposite ends. If you want the EFHW long and not terminated please make a note in your order.
